About the Role
Job Description
You will be entrusted with the overall operation and management of the Setouchi Current Mobility base on Teshima.
Your role will be broad and dynamic, ranging from handling daily mobility rentals to collaborating with the local community and driving service improvements
•
Handling the rental and return of vehicles and equipment, and performing daily maintenance
•
Explaining our services and providing safety guidance to guests
•
Managing reservations and sales, along with general administrative duties
•
Collaborating with local stakeholders, including island residents, the local government, and partner businesses
•
Proposing service improvements and planning new initiatives
•
Managing social media, sharing updates, and creating original merchandise (based on your interests)
A Day in the Life
Morning
Welcoming Guests & Rentals
Prepare the base for opening, warmly welcome guests, and provide thorough usage and safety instructions for their mobility rentals
Afternoon
Returns, Maintenance & Preparation
Inspecting, cleaning, and charging returned mobility vehicles. You will also prepare for the following day's operations by confirming upcoming reservations and managing vehicle inventory
Yearly
Community Relations & Planning
Collaborate with local partners, plan service upgrades, and manage social media to help build a better island community through mobility
Qualifications
Who We're Looking For
Minimum Qualifications
A proactive mindset with a deep alignment with our vision and a passion for the local community
Must hold a valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
You love customer service and building relationships with people from all walks of life
You are flexible and can tackle unexpected challenges with a positive mindset
Proficiency in English or other languages is highly welcome
You have an interest or background in regional revitalization and community-based business
Basic bicycle maintenance skills are a great bonus (not required)

Compensation
Monthly salary: approximately ¥200,000 to ¥300,000 (to be decided during the interview based on experience, skills, and level of commitment)
Location
Teshima, Tonosho-cho, Shozu-gun, Kagawa Prefecture (assuming residence on the island)
Accommodation
Fully equipped dormitory available. (Rent and utility details to be discussed in the interview.)
Working Hours
2 days off/week (Shift system)
*Subject to change based on tourist seasons and ferry schedules
